InWear is firmly in the second camp — and after our first InWear delivery for winter proved such a hit with you, going back for spring was one of the easiest buying decisions we've made. The new season drop has just landed, and it might be our favourite yet.
The story
InWear was born in Copenhagen in 1969, founded by a twenty-year-old nightclub co-owner named Niels Martinsen who had an idea for a fashion label made for confident, urban women. The first collection was an immediate hit — a modern take on femininity that Danish women had been waiting for — and by the '80s and '90s, InWear had become one of Scandinavia's defining fashion names, paving the way for the wave of Scandi style the whole world now obsesses over.
More than 55 years on, the brand is still designed in the heart of Copenhagen, and still built around the same idea it started with: clothes that let women feel like themselves.
Why we keep buying it
The fit is genuinely famous. This is the thing InWear is known for above everything else. The brand employs an in-house team of fitting engineers — yes, that's a real job — who refine every pattern until it sits perfectly. They've even updated their fit mannequins over the years to reflect how real women's bodies have changed. In an industry where that level of care is increasingly rare, it shows the moment you try something on. It's the kind of fit you feel before you even look in the mirror — and it's exactly why so many of you came back asking for more after our winter delivery.

The cape-style cropped trench. The piece everyone stops at. It takes the most classic trans-seasonal coat there is and gives it that unexpected InWear twist — a cropped, cape-style cut that feels fresh without trying too hard. The fitted black blazer. If any single garment shows off what those Copenhagen fitting engineers do, it's this one. A black blazer sounds simple until you find one that actually skims your shoulders and nips the waist the way it should — and then it becomes the hardest-working piece you own. Work, dinner, thrown over everything. This is the one.
The brown trousers. Full disclosure: these barely made it onto the racks because a certain boutique owner may have tried to keep them for herself. Rich brown is the neutral of the season — warmer than black, more interesting than beige — and the tailoring is classic InWear: sharp through the line, comfortable all day. Wear them with the black blazer for tonal-adjacent polish, or with a white tee and sneakers when the weather warms.
